Will I Survive?

Plane Crash

Man it had been a bumpy flight heading to Florida.  I was by myself because I was going to meet a friend.  Then out of nowhere these things that you put around your head came down.  I was scared out of my mind when I felt the explosion.  Our right engine had exploded.  Then all of a sudden I felt the nose of the plane dip down.  We were going to crash……………

Just out of curiosity I went into the front finding both pilots knocked out on the floor and one guy who wasn’t supposed to be there holding a rolling pin.  If that guy was terrorist he wasn’t a good one so it was easy to throw him out the side. Then I went to the pilot seat and tried to  fly it but I couldn’t.

I went back to the seats to see if anyone could fly the plane.  Nobody could fly it but then I saw a red flashing light and decided to check it out.  “IT’S a bomb!” I screamed and of course everybody else started to scream when I saw the time set.  It was at 5, 5 seconds… booommm the whole back of the plane had blown up and now since we couldn’t fly the plane we had run out of gas.

Boom‼‼! And just like that our left wing was gone and we were about 1000 ft from the ground now and all I could was sit and hope that I survived.  The next thing I knew it was really bright.  I thought I was dead but in a couple of minutes I came to my senses and got up because if I was dead I wouldn’t feel any pain I went to the plane and looked at the gps and… it was broken.  “I’m going to die I’m going to die‼‼‼‼‼” I screamed.

I was so dizzy I fell like ten feet falling from the plane.  It hurt a lot‼  Then of course after I feel out of the plane I realized that there’s food and water on the plane so I dragged myself onto the plane again which was hard since I was sore because when the plane crashed my seat belt broke and I somehow survived.  I found 20 cans of soda and a bunch of cookies which would only rot my teeth so I decided to look for fruit tomorrow.  “Ahhhhhhh”… thump‼

Again I fell off and this time I had hit my head and laid there for the rest or the day.   Now my arm was hurt but then realized that it was tomorrow and I had to look for some fruit.   Later I came back with like 10 bananas, 5 apples, and some oranges.  Then I said tomorrow was going to be vegetables.  It was a good thing I brought my pocket knife because know I could make a spear.  Its been my third day out hear and the weird thing is its been kind of fun killing for food, searching for fruit and vegetables, and making a little fort to stay in.  Now to go check out the plane that’s stuck a couple yards out in the ocean.  Maybe I could rip out a chair and use it for a bed.  I’ve been getting kind of lonely out hear and I’ve been talking to myself a lot it’s getting kind of weird.

As soon as I was on the ship I heard a groan and prayed that it wasn’t my head.  I had found another survivor.  Quickly I went over to access his damage and found a huge gash on his head.  He told me that the last thing he remembered was the tip of the plane going done so I took the conclusion that he’s been unconscious the whole time and after getting some food and water in him I took him out of the plane and I showed him my fort and told him he’d been out for three days.  He looked around while I talked to him about how happy I was to have a companion.  He said he was also happy he could move now because he had really only been out for two days and that he had just sat there through the whole day.

After I told him that would stink I went out to find some banana leaves to make our fort water proof.  I had no luck so I went back to camp to find that it had already been covered with banana leaves and built sturdier.  He was gone too.  So I just walked over to the plane and ripped out a couple of chairs for beds and set them up and it worked perfectly too.  I made a mental check list.  Fort, check food, check companion, not here water, crap I forgot about water.

So then I set out to find some water and to make sure it wasn’t salt water because then I’d get sick and that would be bad.  While looking for water I saw some coconuts and decided that it would do.  I climbed up and got like 10 coconuts to fall.  I brought them all back to camp only to find my companion lying down in the fort.  I was about to go yell at him for just wandering off when I saw a fire and decided not to yell.  After about 5 minutes of sitting by camp he came back with some water in plastic cups he must have found in the plane.  I thanked him and asked if it was clean.”Of course it is, it was as clear as glass when I found it.”  Its getting dark so don’t wander off anymore and if we are to make our way to civilization we’ll need some sleep.
In the morning I was sore out of my mind and I started to miss my family knowing that they’d be scared out of their right mind for me.  Since I missed them I started doing push-ups like me and my dad do.  I did 7 sets of 20 which took like 10 minutes.  Since I stunk I took a quick dip in the ocean which relaxed me but I tensed when a felt a fish around my feet…

While walking back up to camp with breakfast noticed that my companion was gone again and added another thing to my check list “Find out my companions name so I can stop calling him that.”  While I was cooking the fish he came back and I said “Where the heck were you” “getting some fruit”  after telling him to tell me what or where he was going before he went I asked for  his name, and he said “John”  Then after a hardy breakfast we set out to find our way out of this place.

“GREAT!” I yelled now knowing that it wasn’t a forest it was an island.  We just hit the shore when I realized we were on an deserted island somewhere in the pacific.  To see the shore line we walked around the whole island only to see another island.  After seeing the other island we decided to go to the plane to gather some scrapes or wood logs.  While in the plane we saw a radio and took it.  But of course it has to have good signal so we need to get somewhere high so the stupid antenna can get a signal.

Splash!  It was hard to steer our raft in the middle of what was like a hurricane.  After about a half an hour we hit shore and tied our raft and (now portable) camp and ran into the thick forest in seek for a cave….. We found one!  After a long night sleeping in a cave who woke up and took a walk out side.  There was so much garbage on the ground that we could use like boats wood and water bottles.  We set up a signal fire so that if anyone came by they would see a manmade fire.

After finding a fresh water pond we came out of the thick underbrush and saw a helicopter from channel 4.  It was flying right above us.  We got the fire going and made a big Y with our arms.  Doing this is the international signal saying “yes we need help.”  It stopped right above us and sat there for about 2 minutes and just flew away.  For the next few days we were really depressed.   It was weeks before we got out of our depression.

It was day 30 and we’d only seen 1 sign of help and that was the channel 4 helicopter.  We decide to go to the next island and try to find civilization.  We didn’t feel like wasting our energy by building a raft so we just swam the way.  It looked like 100 yards.  Once we got there we were tackled and thrown onto the ground.

“You are trespassing on a military base.”  “You know that plane crash like 31 days ago.” I said.  “yeah, but what does that have to do with this” the officer said. “Well we are  the only two survivors” after the officer got a hold of the airline and found out we actually were on that plane he got us a plane ride back to Pewaukee because it turns out John also lived in Pewaukee.  I guess it really is a small world
